If you’re still looking for your perfect RV, feel free to stop by our location in Rogers, Minnesota to grab yours today.

Myre-Big Island State Park

Located in Albert Lea, Minnesota, this state park has 125 RV spots available — with the majority being drive-in sites. While this park is extremely popular, attendance tends to drop in the winter, giving you plenty of space to explore! If you’d like, you can even bring your snowmobile along to travel the park’s seven miles of snowmobile trails.

Chippewa National Forest

One of our largest locations on this list, Chippewa National Forest has over 25 RV sites to camp in. It also has a number of fun winter activities available! Try your hand at ice fishing, snowshoeing, or sledding. If you have a snowmobile, there are a number of trails to choose from that will give you breathtaking views of the forest.

Minneopa State Park

This park is famous for its enormous 40-foot waterfall that will leave you breathless no matter what season you decide to visit. While there are plenty of winter activities to do in the park, snowshoeing is off-limits. However, if you’re still looking for something to do, try using one of the many trails that will lead you around the park’s range area. There you’ll see the local herds of buffalo that call the Minneopa State Park home.

While camping during Minnesota’s infamous winters isn’t exactly easy, many RV campers find it worth the effort for the picturesque views and new activities they get to experience. If you’re located nearby in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and are interested in giving winter camping a try, we encourage you to visit us here at Minneapolis trailer. Whether you’re needing a tune-up, insulation, or a replacement part, we’ll make sure you have what you need before you walk off our lot!
